How ironic. My husband and I have been thinking of places to retire to and Costa Rica is one we are considering. Of course that is a ways off but after our aging cat is no longer with us we plan on checking these places out. Your blog will be a great reference to learn more about Costa Rica. Thank you.

    Thank you following my blog.

I visited Costa Rica on a cruise to the Panama Cruise last year. It was a very interesting place. We saw poisonous frogs and took a trip through the rain forest and saw a banana plantation. Very enjoyable trip.

A beautiful place. I most loved the far north border with Nica (crossed in by boat through pristine jungle) and the far south (Osa Peninsula is the wildest I saw in the country). Really different from the rest of Central America, and there is good and bad in that. I’d like to come back and go out to those islands in the Pacific for a dive trip. What are they called again? I learned the real power of a hummingbird feeder in Costa Rica.

      Hi mflahertyphoto!

Wow! You’ve done what most other visitors don’t get to do: travel to both ends of the country. With respect to diving, there are a few islands you might be talking about. Isla del Coco, the Islas Catalinas, and the Islas Murcielagos tend to be the most popular. 🙂
