Hmmmm… I would guess that it was Trader Joe’s Peaberry Coffee (when it was available). I believe the only other product they offer that includes Costa Rican beans is their Italian Roast Espresso. In either case, I’m sure it was delicious! 🙂

It is incredible how much “behind the scenes” work goes into so many products that most of us consume on a daily basis with little understanding (or appreciation for) the entire process. Thanks goes out to you for taking a moment to read our story re: coffee bean pickers in Costa Rica, and for sharing your humility with us! 🙂

Thanks so much for your comment! It is great to hear from someone who has had a similar experience, and even better to hear that you too appreciate learning where products (in this case, coffee) come from! 🙂

KeymasterHi Anita Mac!
Great choice! The shoulder season is a great time to travel. It provides a nice mix of pleasant weather and decent prices. You are 100% correct, the rain that Costa Rica gets is most often a warm, tropical rain and is not always the dreary rain that visitors dread. The most difficult part is exactly what you mention: planning enough time to do and see it all. One week may not be as much time as you’d like to have here, but incredible experiences can be had in seven days, so a visit (at any time of the year and for as many days as you can manage) is worth the trip. 😉 All the best to you over at “Travel Destination Bucket List.” Should you ever add Costa Rica to your list of travels, please let us know as we would love to follow your experiences.
