Hey, thanks for the follow! I was in Costa Rica for a month in 2002, I think it was. There was a 6.9 earthquake. I camped out on the Osa for a couple of weeks, saw some incredible wildlife (peccaries smell really bad), met some amazing indigenous people, and wonderful Ticos, and I have to say that after Jerusalem C.R. is my favorite place on earth.

Thanks for following my blog. I’ll try to continue writing about interesting activities. The problem here is that there is so much to do I’m running short on writing time!
I enjoy reading about Costa Rica as I lived there for 15 months back in the early 90’s, (was it really that long ago?) and loved every minute.-

Hi Marilyn Albright!
Your “Books for Children” melted our hearts. We often interact with travelers who choose to do something similar. Whereabouts did you live when you were here?
Pura vida! 🙂

Hello Melissa!
You and your husband should visit! I know you’re busy right now with the baby on the way, but maybe you’ll make a family trip at some point in the future. 🙂 Wishing you a safe and enjoyable pregnancy!

Hey jninesworld!
Thank you for the visit as well! Your posts are incredibly entertaining. I especially loved the “Old School” reference in the first paragraph of “Flupocalypse Now,” and the Teddy Ruxpin pic, which took me back to my childhood when Teddy Ruxpin was one of my favorite toys despite him being a creepy talking bear. All the best to you, your family, and “J Nine’s World!”
Pura vida! 🙂

DO you have a post (I read the brief above but was looking for something more intense) on traveling with little children. Lot of aussie families have kids, and traveling to destinations that is both culturally stimulating and child friendly is getting to be a challenge!
