Great information. I met many new friends in Quepos, during my C. and S. America 2 month back pack trip and will return one day. I stayed at the Azul Mono (or is it Mono Azul, i.e., Blue Monkey) Hotel. Wonderful proprietors that made me feel like I was at home!

Hey blade3colorado!
Thanks for the comment! What an incredible journey your two-month trip must have been. If you’re talking about Chip and Jennifer at Mono Azul, I 100% agree! Great people doing great things.

OMG! What a small world it is. Yes, they are excellent hosts and you will know probably know exactly what I am talking about when I say that I am friends of Bill, just as they are. Grin. Again, thank you for writing back and I have added your blog to ones I want to follow, i.e., you’re an excellent observer/writer.

Hi again blade3colorado!
Thanks again for your kind comments! You’re 100% right; what a small world we live in! We make a point of getting to know the people behind the hotels, tours, and transportation services we recommend to travelers, and we’re glad you got to know two of them well. 🙂

Love the comparison of Costa Rica to Disneyland! And thanks for visiting my blog, Susan LaDue Writes (www.write4you.org). I just love Central America; it makes research for my Caribbean mystery book lots of fun. There’s so much interesting stuff to learn. Pura vida!
